Linder Health Chemical Peel Protocols
Standard Peel Protocol (30 minutes)
Step 1
Apply the appropriate aromatherapy blend to the temples, wrists and pulse points, and rub a small amount into the hands, and have the client gently inhale. (3 min)
Step 2
Cleanse the skin twice with a gel cleanser to remove makeup, dirt and sebum from the skin. (6 min)
- Cleansing can be performed using hands, sponges, 4x4s, rotating brush, etc.
Step 3
Apply Prep-Work to the treatment area with cotton or gauze to remove any residual sebum and allow for optimal exfoliation. (3 min)
- More sensitive skin types may experience stimulation with Prep-Work.
- If Prep-Work is truly uncomfortable for the patient, Polite Peel may be the best option.
- Fan to make sure skin is dry
Step 4
Apply the appropriate peel in layers using cotton, gauze or a brush, assessing visible and perceived inflammation. (up to 6 layers) (8 min)
- Fan to keep the patient comfortable.
- DO NOT remove.
Step 6
Apply MINERAL SKIN AIR for 30 seconds to entire treatment area for added hydration and healing benefits. (1 min)
Step 6
Apply one pump of Bonus Round to the treatment area for increased cell turnover, visible flaking and overall results. (2 min)
Step 7
Apply a mixture of a broad-spectrum SPF to protect the skin and filter UV rays, and a calming hydrator to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. (7 min)
Spa Peel Protocol (50 minutes)
Step 1
Apply the appropriate aromatherapy blend to the temples, wrists and pulse points, and rub a small amount into the hands, and have the client gently inhale. (3 min)
Step 2
Cleanse the skin twice with a gel cleanser to remove makeup, dirt and sebum from the skin. Steam may be used for no more than 5 minutes if desired (6 min)
- Cleansing can be performed using hands, sponges, 4x4s, rotating brush, etc.
- Please note that using steam may enhance peel penetration and stimulation.
Step 3
Apply Prep-Work to the treatment area with cotton or gauze to remove any residual sebum and allow for optimal exfoliation. (3 min)
- More sensitive skin types may experience stimulation with Prep-Work.
- If Prep-Work is truly uncomfortable for the patient, Polite Peel may be the best option.
- Fan to make sure skin is dry
Step 4
Gently massage the face and décolleté for no more than 7 minutes using an unscented massage medium. Remove all traces of Prep-Work. (10 min)
Step 5
Apply the appropriate peel in layers using cotton, gauze or a brush, assessing visible and perceived inflammation (up to 6 layers) (8 min)
- Fan to keep the patient comfortable.
- DO NOT remove.
Step 6
Apply MINERAL SKIN AIR for 30 seconds to entire treatment area for added hydration and healing benefits. (1 min)
Step 7
Apply one pump of Bonus Round to the treatment area for increased cell turnover, visible flaking and overall results. (2 min)
Step 8
Perform hand and scalp massage as the mist and Bonus Round penetrate. (10 min)
Step 9
Apply a mixture of a broad-spectrum SPF to protect the skin and filter UV rays, and a calming hydrator to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. (7 min)
